Buffalo Bayou Hike & Bike Trails
As part of the comprehensive master plan developed for the Buffalo Bayou historic corridor in Houston, Marek-Hill designed this wayfinding system for its hike and bike trails. The system orients and directs visitors along the trails, identifies key sites and amenities, and fits into an environment ranging from greenbelt areas to industrial zones. We used stainless steel to withstand the ravages of flooding and the occasional hurricane, as well as hikers, bikers and baby-carriages.
